Who are we?
Meet Our Experts
My interest in cacti and succulents began approximately two decades ago when a small segment of cactus detached from my mother-in-law’s plant. I chose to pot the fragment and observe its development; to my surprise, it thrived. Since that moment, I have been deeply engaged in cultivating these plants.
After 20 years in the motor trade, my passion for cacti and succulents took over—now I'm considered obsessed, but I don't mind.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of meeting many outstanding people and acquiring valuable knowledge. I am particularly fortunate to have worked alongside Chris Pugh of Pugh's Cacti and Roger Ferryman, both recognised experts in their respective fields.
I have decided that this is the appropriate time to launch my own venture, share my knowledge with others, and offer a selection of plants for sale. .
I am grateful to be a member of the Birmingham Cactus and Succulent Society. I highly recommend joining the society to expand your knowledge, develop new friendships, and have the opportunity to purchase unique plants. We meet on the third Tuesday of every month at Winterbourne House and Gardens.
In the greenhouse Rosie and Alfie are always around to offer a paw to help, Rosie is often found in the greenhouse under my feet and Alfie pops in now and then to check progress.
My wife and I enjoy participating in events where we offer plants for sale and engage with visitors about cacti and succulents. Please stay informed about the upcoming events we will be attending.
